“THE country does not need more officers, it needs good officers,” stated Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander.
Delivering the feature address yesterday to 125 graduates of the Police Academy in St James, Alexander advised the men and women before him that their respect had to be earned.
“We need officers who chose integrity over temptation, officers who chose discipline over ego and officers who chose service over short-cuts because if you want respect, earn it, and if you want trust, build it, and if you want honour, then live it,” he said.
