Members of a Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) emergency crew are being hailed as heroes after helping to rescue a baby and several other people from a burning building in Port of Spain.
In a statement, T&TEC praised the members of its Distribution North Emergency Crew for their swift response and courage.
"We are incredibly proud of the members of the Distribution North Emergency Crew who responded immediately to help rescue a baby and others from a burning building in Port of Spain. We commend them for their quick thinking and selfless action in the face of danger," the Commission said.
