Three months after suffering a gunshot injury that left it partially paralysed, Papaoutai the ocelot has shown encouraging progress after various forms of therapy and care.
The injured wild animal that was shot in a forested area in Granville and rescued on February 22 is continuing its slow but determined road to recovery under the care of dedicated veterinarian Dr Kriyaan Singh and his team.
The animal, a protected species, has been undergoing extensive therapy at Dr Singh’s La Romaine Veterinary Clinic since being rescued with severe injuries that affected its mobility, particularly in its hind limbs.
