A St Catherine businessman who allegedly fled Jamaica after a gun attack that left three people injured has been captured overseas and returned to the island to face a string of serious charges.
Charged is 38-year-old Chavis Peart, otherwise called āGeezyā or āBallerā, of Jumbling Place, Portmore, St Catherine.
Peart has been charged with three counts of wounding with intent, possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorised possession of ammunition, and using a firearm to commit a felony.
