KINGSTON, Jamaica — A search is now underway to locate a prisoner who escaped police custody early Saturday morning while being quarantined at a medical facility in the Corporate Area.
He has been identified as 25-year-old Marlo Headley of Palmers Cross, Clarendon, who is facing murder charges.
Reports from the Hunts Bay Police are that about 4:40 am, Headley escaped from a medical facility where he was last seen shirtless and wearing brown shorts. Headley is being urged to surrender to the police immediately.
