Person of interest in artiste’s shooting held by police

ST ANDREW, Jamaica — A person of interest who was being sought for the shooting of a recording artiste was arrested by the police in St Andrew on Friday.

The suspect, Daveian Lewis, otherwise called ‘Rasta’, a chef from Central Avenue in Greenwich Town, St Andrew, had been on the run for the past three years.

He was reportedly held after an intelligence-led, coordinated operation between the Area 2 and Area 4 Fugitive Apprehension Teams.
