Dad shot dead, wife, child wounded

A 64-year-old man was shot dead while his wife and teenage daughter were wounded after two masked gunmen allegedly posed as police officers to gain entry into their Arima home late Wednesday night.

Police identified the deceased as Richard Maloney of Demerara Road, Arima.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire at about 11 p.m. at a house along Demerara Road.
