A 64-year-old man was gunned down on Wednesday night and two others, including a 15-year-old girl, were shot.
Police reported that around 11 pm, officers responded to reports of gunshots at Demerara Road, Arima. When officers arrived, they found Richard Maloney near the back door of his home with gunshot wounds.
Police said Maloney responded to a knock on his door after people shouted, “Police, open up!” Maloney opened the door and two masked men opened fire, killing him and injuring a 45-year-old woman and the child.
