Police officers arrested three people and seized a quantity of cannabis during a series of intelligence-led operations across the Northern North Division on Sunday.
The primary sweep, conducted under State of Emergency (SOE) protocols, targeted multiple locations including Cinnamon Crescent in Santa Rosa and Moonlighting Drive in Wallerfield. The operation culminated at Kingdom Avenue in Maturita, where law enforcement searched a mini-mart and an adjoining residence.
During the search, officers discovered approximately 105 grams of cannabis hidden inside a wardrobe. A 43-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and cautioned for cannabis possession. She was subsequently taken to the Pinto Police Post along with the seized drugs.
