Police arrested six people and seized three firearms, ammunition, cannabis and contraband during State of Emergency operations carried out across several police divisions yesterday.
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, officers conducted coordinated exercises in the Northern, Northern North, North Central and North Eastern Divisions on Thursday.
In one operation, Task Force officers of the Northern North Division carried out an exercise between 5.30 pm and 9 pm in the Tunapuna area. Officers searched the home of a male suspect, where they found 11 fully grown cannabis trees, 1.256 kilogrammes of cannabis and four pieces of camouflage clothing.
