ALL schools across Trinidad will be dismissed early tomorrow and non-essential government offices closed to accommodate the official visit of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Modi will arrive at Piarco International Airport at 3.45 p.m. tomorrow following which he will be checked in at the Hyatt Regency, Port of Spain, at 4.45 p.m. He will later attend a Community Diaspora Event at the National Cycling Velodrome National Cycling Velodrome, Balmain, Couva at 7 p.m. On Friday, Modi is expected to pay a courtesy call on President Christine Kangaloo, at the Office of the President from 10 a.m.—10.30 a.m.
He will later address a Joint Assembly of the Parliament at 10.35 a.m. at Parliamentary Complex, Cabildo Building, St Vincent Street, Port of Spain. Modi leaves on Friday.
