DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP)—Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has died in a major attack on Iran launched by Israel and the United States, Israeli officials and United States president Donald Trump said yesterday.

“Khamenei, one of the most evil people in History, is dead,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.

Satellite images showed damage to Khamenei’s compound in Tehran earlier yesterday following the raids.
