Former chairman of the Children’s Authority Hanif Benjamin has been placed on $170,000 bail at his court appearance a short while ago.
Benjamin, 47 and a trauma specialist, was charged with two sexual-related offences, appeared before Master Delicia Bethelmy.
The charges of sexual communication and engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child were laid under the Children’s Act by Cpl Cassie of the Child Protection Unit (CPU).
