MaĀyaro MP Nicholas MorĀris has thrown his supĀport beĀhind Prime MinĀisĀter KamĀla PerĀsad-BissesĀsarās stance on school inĀdisĀciĀpline, arĀguĀing that parĀents and the home must play a cenĀtral role in adĀdressĀing viĀoĀlence and bad beĀhavĀiour among stuĀdents.
In a stateĀment, MorĀris, who is alĀso a MinĀisĀter in the OfĀfice of the Prime MinĀisĀter, said PerĀsad-BissesĀsar was right to take a firm poĀsiĀtion on inĀdisĀciĀpline as the GovĀernĀment seeks to proĀtect the edĀuĀcaĀtion sysĀtem.
āThe Prime MinĀisĀter is right! Schools must be the inĀstiĀtuĀtions where we build the fuĀture of our naĀtion by nurĀturĀing our greatĀest reĀsource, our huĀman capĀiĀtal, through edĀuĀcaĀtion, disĀciĀpline, hard work and proĀducĀtivĀiĀty,ā MorĀris said.
