Four people are in custody following separate police exercises in the North Eastern and Eastern Divisions targeting violent crime and illegal firearms.
Police said two men, aged 22 and 25, both of San Juan, were arrested during an Operation Steady Guard exercise on Monday in connection with a wounding with intent report. Investigators believe the pair stabbed a male victim multiple times during an incident in the San Juan district on Sunday.
In a separate exercise in Morvant, officers of the Inter-Agency Task Force detained a man along Upper Lady Young Road after he was found with a shotgun and a quantity of ammunition.
