Two men were ar­rest­ed and three firearms and quan­ti­ties of am­mu­ni­tion and nar­cotics were seized, dur­ing an­ti-crime ex­er­cis­es con­duct­ed in the South West­ern and East­ern Di­vi­sions, yes­ter­day.

In a state­ment, the TTPS said of­fi­cers con­duct­ed an ex­er­cise in the Point Fortin dis­trict around 7:40 pm yes­ter­day, dur­ing which they pro­ceed­ed to Sev­enth Street, Techi­er Vil­lage, where they ob­served a group of men stand­ing along the road­way.

On see­ing the of­fi­cers, the men fled the scene.
