Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar was a “brave patriot” on the United Nations global stage when she highlighted on Friday the reality that plagues Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean, says acting prime minister Jearlean John.
John was Persad-Bissessar’s choice to act as prime minister in her absence, as she attends the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) meeting and other events in the United States.
