A dou­bles ven­dor and her em­ploy­ee were tied up and robbed of thou­sands of dol­lars when four masked men stormed her home at Ply­mouth Road, To­ba­go, ear­ly this morn­ing.

Po­lice said around about 2 am, the ven­dor was prepar­ing food with two work­ers when the men en­tered. Two were armed with ri­fles, one had a cut­lass, and an­oth­er car­ried a hand­gun.

The in­trud­ers forced the ven­dor and one em­ploy­ee up­stairs, tied them up, and ran­sacked two bed­rooms. Out of fear, the ven­dor hand­ed over $21,600 and US$100. The men al­so stole a dig­i­tal video recorder and a cell­phone be­fore es­cap­ing on foot.
