Police are investigating a violent robbery that occurred Thursday afternoon in Penal, where a self-employed doubles vendor was attacked in her home.
According to police reports, around 2:45 p.m., the 50-year-old victim was in the kitchen area of her ground-floor residence on Wilson Road when two men, both armed with cutlasses, entered.
The suspects, described as of East Indian descent, were both slim-built; one approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall wearing yellow three-quarter pants and a blue jersey covering his head, and the other about 5 feet 4 inches tall wearing black three-quarter pants and a white jersey covering his head.
