Four people were arrested while two firearms, ammunition, and marijuana trees were seized during an anti-crime exercise carried out in the North Eastern Division on Wednesday.
Police said the intelligence-led operation was conducted between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the Barataria district by officers attached to several specialised units.
During the exercise, officers went to Sawmill Avenue, where they arrested a 20-year-old man for possession of a Glock 19 pistol and two magazines containing a total of 25 rounds of ammunition.
