Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro and the executive of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service are extending condolences to the family and friends of PC Romel Douglas, who was shot and killed during an attempted robbery in Caroni on Tuesday night.
During Wednesday’s TTPS Media Briefing, officers observed a minute of silence in honour of PC Douglas.
TTPS Public Information Officer ASP Owie Russell explained that the 48-year-old officer was in his vehicle when a Nissan Tiida pulled alongside him.
