Three men, including an off-duty police officer, were shot dead on Sunday evening in Gonzales, near Belmont.

Police said the victims of the triple homicide were 24-year-old Michael Ross of Thornhill Terrace, Gonzales; 32-year-old police constable Davy La Maitre of Upper Terrace, Cocorite; and 23-year-old Josiah Maloney of Rudolph Charles Link Road, Gonzales.

Around 6.20 p.m. on Sunday, the victims were liming on Lange Street when a black Nissan Almera pulled up next to them.
