Four men were fatally shot by police in three separate incidents across Trinidad and Tobago within a span of 10 hours on Friday.
The most recent incident occurred around 10a.m. in St. Mary’s, Moruga, where Shumba James and Visham Ryan Lochan were shot dead following what police described as a confrontation. The men were in a Nissan Tiida when they allegedly opened fire on officers near B’s Sports Bar, close to Saunders Trace.
Officers returned fire, injuring both men, who were then taken to the Princes Town District Hospital. They were pronounced dead on arrival.
