Prime Min­is­ter Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar will make her first of­fi­cial vis­it to To­ba­go from No­vem­ber 3, fol­low­ing an in­vi­ta­tion from Chief Sec­re­tary Far­ley Au­gus­tine.

Of­fi­cial events be­gin with a spe­cial sit­ting of the As­sem­bly Leg­is­la­ture from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Clerk of the As­sem­bly Lin­coln Nel­son is­sued the no­tice for the sit­ting last week.

Per­sad-Bisses­sar and At­tor­ney Gen­er­al John Je­re­mie will al­so meet with Au­gus­tine to dis­cuss To­ba­go’s au­ton­o­my. Oth­er Cab­i­net Min­is­ters are ex­pect­ed to hold meet­ings with their re­spec­tive line sec­re­taries of the To­ba­go House of As­sem­bly.
