Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar will make her first official visit to Tobago from November 3, following an invitation from Chief Secretary Farley Augustine.
Official events begin with a special sitting of the Assembly Legislature from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Clerk of the Assembly Lincoln Nelson issued the notice for the sitting last week.
Persad-Bissessar and Attorney General John Jeremie will also meet with Augustine to discuss Tobago’s autonomy. Other Cabinet Ministers are expected to hold meetings with their respective line secretaries of the Tobago House of Assembly.
