POLICE are investigating three separate fatal shootings over the weekend, including the murder of a 38-year-old Caroni man who was gunned down outside a bar in Kelly Village early Saturday morning when he intervened in a dispute involving his brother.
The victim, Gabriel Simon, of Main Road, Kelly Village, died at the scene after being shot in the face around 2.40 a.m.
According to police reports, Simon had been inside the Safe Landing Bar on Caroni South Bank Road minutes earlier, where he stepped in to separate his brother and a woman who were in an argument.
