A team from the Concerned Muslims of Trinidad and Tobago (CMTT) departed for Jamaica yesterday to begin on-the-ground relief operations following the devastating Hurricane Melissa that recently struck the island.
The delegation, which includes two representatives from CMTT, will assess the situation in affected communities, purchase relief items from local wholesalers in Kingston, and carry out the first distribution of aid tomorrow.
