OPPOSITION Leader Pennelope Beckles has poured criticism on and questioned the validity of the use of the radar installed in Tobago for success in recent drug busts in Trinidad.
She urged voters to consider the secrecy surrounding the installation of the radar when they go to the polls on January 12, 2026, for the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) election.
She was speaking on Saturday at the launch of the People’s National Movement (PNM) election slate at the Magdalena Grand hotel, before a packed ballroom of supporters dressed in red, including former THA chief secretary and party stalwart Orville London.
