Opposition Leader Pennelope Beckles has condemned Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar’s address at the 50th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (Caricom) in St Kitts as “revolting and bizarre”.
Beckles launched a scathing critique yesterday, following the PM’s remarks in St Kitts on Tuesday.
At a People’s National Movement (PNM) news conference, the Opposition Leader said Persad-Bissessar had embarrassed Trinidad and Tobago before the region’s leaders.
