Two elderly sisters were beaten and tied up during a home invasion in Claxton Bay on Friday.
One of them, a 68-year-old mini mart owner, yesterday remained hospitalized with bleeding in the brain, broken ribs, a swollen face and bloodshot eyes. She is also in pain while being administered oxygen and intravenous medication, a neighbour said yesterday.
On Friday, the petite woman was kicked, tied up and her head hit each step as she was dragged down a flight of steel stairs. She was found motionless in her kitchen.
