A 46-year-old resident of Mt. Dor Road, Champs Fleurs, was granted bail after appearing in court on a charge of bribery related to the April 28, 2025 General Election.
The man appeared before Master Gray on Monday, May 5th, 2025. He was granted bail on his own recognizance and is scheduled to return to court on June 5th, 2025.
According to a report from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), the man was arrested on Monday, April 28th, and charged on Friday, May 2nd, 2025, with bribery under Section 96(2)(a) of the Representation of the People Act, Chapter 2:01.
