Police in San Fernando are investigating a home invasion in which a 71-year-old man was robbed and his vehicle stolen in the early hours of Saturday.
According to police, the victim had secured his white Nissan Y11 AD wagon (registration PBS 5261) around 8pm before retiring to bed. Around 3.30 am he was awakened by a noise outside the front door of his home.
Upon opening the door to investigate, the man was confronted by three Spanish-speaking men armed with a knife and a pry bar. The suspects forced him back inside, bound his hands and feet with cloth, and ransacked the home. They stole the keys to his vehicle and fled in the white Nissan AD wagon in an unknown direction.
