The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) arrested four people for robbery and larceny-related offences, detained four others in connection with a firearms investigation, and recovered two stolen cellular phones during a series of intelligence-led operations as part of Operation RESOLUTE Shield in Chaguanas, Port-of-Spain and Tobago.
In a statement issued yesterday, the TTPS said that in Chaguanas, officers of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) conducted an intelligence-led exercise between 12 pm and 4.30 pm on Monday in response to recent robbery reports.
Police said officers went to a business establishment along Main Road, Chaguanas, where they arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with ongoing investigations. Officers later went to Soogrim Trace, Orange Valley, following a report of a stolen cellular phone and arrested a 25-year-old man.
