Multiple firearms, ammunition, and police issued equipment—including bulletproof vests—were recovered during several anti-crime operations carried out on Tuesday 16 December 2025, the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service has confirmed.
And in an official statement on the matter, the Police Service is urging members of the public to continue partnering with law enforcement by providing information that can assist in the fight against crime.
According to the TTPS release, police officers attached to the Cumuto Police Station and the Northern Division North Task Force received intelligence that led them to an abandoned property along Cumuto Main Road, Cumuto, yesterday. A search of the premises led to the discovery of one pump-action shotgun and two blue bulletproof vests marked “Police”.
