Police are investigating a violent robbery in Cunupia on Tuesday morning.
Around 6:05 a.m., a man leaving his home on Bholia Trace Extension, Munroe Road, was approached by two men believed to be Venezuelan nationals. The suspects announced a robbery, demanded cash, and used violence, binding the victim’s hands with a tie strap before fleeing in a white vehicle.
The men stole $19,000 in cash and a black Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra cellphone valued at $3,500.
