The Police Service has issued a warning to those planning to protest police killings, specifically in the case of Joshua Samaroo, who was shot dead inside a car in which his girlfriend was critically wounded.
Samaroo was a 31-year-old courier whose death on January 20, during an alleged police operation in St Augustine sparked national outrage and calls for justice.
He was fatally shot by police officers following a high-speed chase that ended when his vehicle crashed into a drain at the corner of Bassie Street Extension and Dookiesingh Street in St Augustine.
