Police are investigating a daring pre-dawn burglary at the Coral Cove Marina Hotel, where two intruders made off with over $40,000 in cash from the office area of the hotel compound.
According to reports, around 3a.m. on Thursday, a resident informant observed two men behaving suspiciously on the hotel premises. One suspect was said to be dressed in a blue hoodie, three-quarter pants, and black and white slippers, while the other wore a black hoodie, dark-colored pants, and sneakers.
The matter was not reported to police at the time, but later that morning around 8a.m., hotel 's general manager and the informant conducted checks at the property. Upon entering the manager's office, they discovered that a window, which had been secured the night before, was now wide open.
