Police are investigating a daring break-in at the underground carpark of MovieTowne, Port of Spain, on Wednesday evening, where thieves made off with more than $100,000 in local and foreign currency.
The victim has been identified as a 32-year-old man of East Dry River.
According to police reports, around 5:15 p.m. in the company of two friends, visited First Citizens Bank at One Woodbrook Place, where he withdrew $100,000 in cash. He secured the money in the centre console of his Nissan Navarra and then drove to PriceSmart MovieTowne.
