A man was robbed of $7,000 in cash shortly after withdrawing the money from a credit union in Port of Spain on Tuesday morning.
According to police reports, the victim visited a financial institution on Dundonald Street around 8.20 a.m. and withdrew the money he placed in a white envelope. He later went into the washroom and concealed the envelope in his shoe before leaving the establishment.
The man then took a taxi along Park Street and disembarked at Henry Street, where he continued on foot heading north.
