A dispute between a fruit vendor and a customer turned bloody on Thursday when the seller chopped his customer following a quarrel.
Police said that the incident occurred around 9 a.m. at the corner of Akal Road and Bushe Street, San Juan when the victim walked up to the stall to make a purchase.
It was not known what sparked the argument, but the stall owner grabbed a cutlass and chopped his customer multiple times before running off leaving behind his stall and produce.
