A NEW state-of-the-art Trinidad Eye Hospital Surgery Centre, set to open in the next 18 months in Aranjuez, will also be a teaching facility for doctors in the region.
Speaking at the sod-turning ceremony yesterday, Trinidad Eye Hospital chief executive officer Dr Ronnie Bhola said the state-of-the-art facility will house a clinic and theatres to perform surgeries.
In an interview with the Express, Bhola said, “We already do a lot of the sub-specialties in ophthalmology.
