STARTING today, approximately 8,000 patients from Trinidad and Tobago will receive free surgeries and medical treatment from Hands International mission.
The mission, which comprises a team of 120 medical practitioners from Loma Linda, California, and eastern parts of the United States of America, touched down at Piarco International Airport yesterday.
Hands International project manager, Samuel Sankar, told members of the media that the team will be rendering medical treatment at the Community Hospital of Seventh-day Adventist for a period of four days.
