Don’t scrap the Demerit Points System.
President of road traffic management NGO Arrive Alive Sharon Inglefield made the suggestion yesterday, saying the system should be improved instead.
On Thursday, during the UNC Government’s first post-Cabinet news conference at the Red House in Port of Spain, Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar announced that the Demerit Points System will be scrapped.
