Thir­ty-two peo­ple were ar­rest­ed, firearms and am­mu­ni­tion seized, and drugs re­cov­ered dur­ing a ma­jor law en­force­ment op­er­a­tion co­de­named “Sum­mer Slam.”

The co­or­di­nat­ed ex­er­cise, con­duct­ed across sev­er­al com­mu­ni­ties, al­so saw the ex­e­cu­tion of 14 war­rants, 42 stop-and-search­es, and the is­su­ing of 14 fixed penal­ty no­tices for traf­fic vi­o­la­tions.

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice, the op­er­a­tion led to ar­rests in con­nec­tion with firearm, am­mu­ni­tion, and rob­bery of­fences.
