PRESIDENT of the Fire Service Association of Trinidad and Tobago (FSA) Keone Guy says fire officers feel extremely disrespected by the current 5% wage increase offer put forward by the government.
Following the association’s meeting with Chief Personnel Officer (CPO) Dr Daryl Dindial last week, its membership expressed “tremendous dissent”, Guy told the Express yesterday, adding that the offer was rejected during negotiations.
“This dissatisfaction with the offer, we have received very clearly, and we will be responding in a certain manner in the coming weeks with the CPO,” he said.
