Chief Per­son­nel Of­fi­cer Dr Daryl Din­di­al has con­firmed that the 5% of­fer on salary and Cost of Liv­ing Al­lowance, ex­tend­ed pri­or to the 2025 elec­tions, re­mains in place, de­spite calls from Fire Ser­vice As­so­ci­a­tions for a re­view of ex­ist­ing al­lowances.

The Fire Of­fi­cers’ As­so­ci­a­tion have com­mit­ted to sub­mit­ting a for­mal re­sponse on salary and CO­LA.

In a me­dia re­lease the Chief Per­son­nel Of­fi­cer said he met with ex­ec­u­tives of the 1st and 2nd Di­vi­sion Fire Ser­vice As­so­ci­a­tions to­day at the Per­son­nel De­part­ment to ad­dress con­cerns af­fect­ing Trinidad and To­ba­go fire of­fi­cers.
