President of the Public Services Association Felisha Thomas made a surprise appearance on the United National Congress (UNC) platform in Sangre Grande last night, stating that she was doing her part to help remove the “oppressive” People’s National Movement (PNM) from office.
“Brothers and sisters, there is sun on the horizon. There is hope for a brighter day. We must take charge of our destiny. Take charge of our future and act on our responsibility to ensure that we leave an inheritance not just for our children but our children’s children,” Thomas said to a cheering audience, among whom sat former PSA president Leroy Baptiste.
Thomas, who wore a green T-shirt, was accompanied by a contingent of workers also dressed in green jerseys and waved PSA flags.
