Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar says Prime Minister Stuart Young is out of touch with the people and, after ten years in Government, has the audacity to shamelessly offer more food cards.
Speaking at the Centre of Excellence, Macoya, on Saturday where the party’s 39 election candidates were presented, the former prime minister declared that “love is the code”, saying the United National Congress (UNC) is the “people’s party” born out of struggle.
She accused the People’s National Movement (PNM) of lacking love and compassion, labelling it a Government “driven by selfishness and bullying”.
