A MORVANT man who was shot in the neck last week while sitting in his car with a female companion has died at hospital.

Dennison Jack, 39, of Paradise Heights, succumbed to his injuries on Sunday while hospitalised at the Port of Spain General Hospital in critical condition, police said yesterday.

Investigators said around 10 p.m., last Wednesday, Jack was seated in his car at Industrial Road, Morvant, in the company of a 23-year-old woman from the Las Alturas housing complex when a gunman walked up to the driver's side, pointed a firearm at Jack, and demanded that both he and the woman come out of the car.
