ONE man was killed and two others were left in critical condition after a car plunged into the Cunupia river in the early hours of yesterday.
The driver, whose identity had not been established up to this afternoon, died at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, where he and the two other occupants were taken following the crash.
The accident was said to have taken place around 6 a.m. along the Southern Main Road, Cunupia, after the driver of a red Nissan Note, reportedly left a nearby gas station after refuelling.
