Criminals staged a home invasion in Valsayn on Monday night, assaulting occupants and escaping with $60,000 in cash and a cellphone.
Police said that around 8 p.m., officers from the St Joseph Police Station were on mobile patrol when they received a report of a robbery at Bimiti Road, Valsayn South.
On arrival, officers met a 59-year-old woman who told them that she and her handyman were outside her home when three men entered the yard and forced them into the house.
